The EU Marie Curie Chair won a European Idea's project (Marie Curie Action) in the program 'Industry - Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP)' with the title 'A functional marker of commercial AMF isolates for sustainable agriculture'.

The project will study AOX gene diversity in AMF and will link a SME from Germany to the Chair at the University of Évora. Both partners will frequently exchange scientists/members of the units to learn from each other and develop the project together. The project will start in December 2010 and will run for 4 years.
